heiDOCS Grants

As the university's first faculty, the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences has developed a program to further develop the academic framework for doctoral students. The Rectorate of Ruperto Carola gave the financial support to implement the planned measures.

Through its pioneering role in the heiDOCS initiative, the faculty will be able to invest additional funds totaling more than 230,000 euros in doctoral training over the next three years. Thus, the process of individual doctorate is promoted sustainably and comprehensively.

The catalog of measures drawn up by the working group of the three institutes (AWI, IPW, MWI) with the participation of PhD representatives envisages financial support for individual PhD students in a competitive application process.

Applications can be submitted throughout the year by the following deadlines: January 10, April 10, July 10 and October 10.
