Campus Library Bergheim

The Campus Library Bergheim is the common library of the institutes of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences. You can find there academic literature on the subjects of sociology, politics and economy.

The library conveys about 350 000 books and journal volumes, including a part of the textbook collection of the University Library on sociology and economy. Apart from the library collection on four floors, there are 300 workplaces for students, including individual workplaces and rooms for group work.

Important

Jackets and coats (overwear) may not be taken into the library! Please lock them in the basement like bags and rucksacks. Thank you very much!

Closing times over Christmas and New Year

During the Christmas and New Year period 2025/26, the Bergheim Campus Library will be closed on the following days: Tuesday, 23 December 2025, up to and including Saturday, 3 January 2026, and on Tuesday, 6 January 2026 (Epiphany). On Monday, 22 December 2025, the Campus Library will close at 5 p.m.

Rooms for Group Work
