All books and magazines of the Campus Library Bergheim as well as e-books and books of other Heidelberg University libraries can be found in the catalogue HEIDI.
Textbook Collection
In the textbook collection that is situated in the basement you can find the major literature for study and examination in the subjects of politics, sociology and economics.
Current Semester Reserve Collection
The teaching staff of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences can use current semester reserve collection with literature that can be set up for their courses. These books are non-borrowable during semester time and can be used in the Campus Library Bergheim.
Magazines and Daily Newspapers
On the ground floor of the library you can find foreign and German latest daily newspapers, such as Frankfurter Allgemeine, Financial Times, Handelsblatt, Le monde diplomatique, Neue Zürcher Zeitung, Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung, Süddeutsche Zeitung, TAZ and Die Zeit for reading on site.
The newspaper editions of the last four weeks are available at the display shelf for newspapers. There are also all specialist journals in the subjects of politics, sociology and economics with a subscriber that are accessible for usage inside the library.
Non-Borrowable Part of the Collection
Some items of library resources are not available for usage outside the library and are designated as non-borrowable items. The books can be used as a rule only in the reading rooms. It is possible to borrow them overnight until the next working day.
